Tri-City College Prep High School is a public charter high school in Prescott, Arizona.
The school was founded in 1999 by Mary Ellen Halvorson. Shortly before the death of Paul W. Bear, Halvorson's grandfather, Bear gave her $2,000 and asked her to make it grow. Halvorson decided to found a school. She wanted a school focusing on math and the sciences while preparing students for college. The school started on the campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University campus, where three buildings were rented out to Tri-City Prep. In 2000, the first graduating class was commenced. In 2005, the school moved to its permanent home on 5522 Side Road, where a school complex was built. In 2008, a gymnasium was built for the school's various sports programs.
