Travilah is, however, recognized by the United States Census Bureau as a census-designated place, and by the United States Geological Survey as a populated place located at 39°3′23″N 77°14′14″W / 39.05639°N 77.23722°W / 39.05639; -77.23722 (39.056453, -77.237198).
