Travilah is a census-designated place and an unincorporated area in Montgomery County, Maryland, United States and near the wealthy suburban community of Potomac. Residents generally identify as living in Potomac, Rockville, Darnestown, or North Potomac, depending on the area they live in and the zip code they are under. Travilah does not have a zip code.
As an unincorporated area, Travilah's boundaries are not officially defined. Travilah is, however, recognized by the United States Census Bureau as a census-designated place, and by the United States Geological Survey as a populated place located at 39°3′23″N 77°14′14″W / 39.05639°N 77.23722°W (39.056453, -77.237198).
