Trapped! is a British children's Halloween-themed television game show that was broadcast on BBC One, ABC3 and CBBC Channel from 28 September 2007 to 4 November 2010.

The show as a whole is set in a 5-storyed tower which, from the opening titles, appears to be on a small island in the middle of the sea. Every episode is introduced by the Caretaker, and also features a character referred to simply as "The Voice". 6 animated children (referred to as Unfortunates,) start at the top of the tower to complete one challenge per floor. They each wear a Whisper Clip, and prior to every challenge, one Unfortunate is chosen through their Whisper Clip as the Saboteur. It is that unfortunate's job to sabotage the game without being spotted, with guidance from The Voice.

After every challenge, if the team pass the challenge, the rest of the team minus the Saboteur move down one level. If the team fail, each child votes for who they think was the Saboteur, and the one with the most votes doesn't move down. A straw draw is used in the event of a tie, with the shortest straw being the one trapped.

This repeats on a floor-by-floor basis until there are only 2 Unfortunates left. The last round is an alternating question based on the events of their time in the tower throughout the episode. Whoever has the higher score wins the Key Of Freedom and leaves the tower. The other 5 Unfortunates remain trapped inside the tower...forever!

For 2010, changes were made to the format of the show, particularly in areas of themes, the games and interaction with the Unfortunates. As well as introducing a new room for the caretaker, recaps were made of previously trapped Unfortunates on higher floors and the appearance of the Voice was revised. The final round was also changed - get a question correct and take one step towards the Key of Freedom. Get a question wrong and the opponent takes a step towards the Key Of Freedom.

The Caretaker, played by Simon Greenall, is the presenter of the show. He provides links between challenges and introduces each game with a voice over while another character, Wiley Sneak, provides a visual demonstration. The Caretaker is also trapped, and has been in the Tower for a very long time (in one episode he mentions being around in 1604, in another being around in the war, then mentioning Romans and in a third, 1945), even though he only came there for a night's sleep prior to his imprisonment. He must trap as many children as the Voice deems worthy before he can be freed. His catchphrase is said when the saboteur is chosen, he would say "I know who it is, you know who it is, but the rest of them don't".
