Lists Hospitals in England

Torbay Hospital is South Devon's main hospital. It is run by the South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

The hospital is located in Torquay near the English Riviera. It is a relatively large hospital, though smaller than Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital and Derriford Hospital.

The hospital contains an A&E department, which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and contains a grass helipad which may only be used during the daytime. The only helipad which may be used during the night in the South West is Derriford Hospital which is the South West's Major Trauma Centre.

Torbay Hospital Chapel is Grade II listed and was designed by the architect Charles Holden and when the Hospital was built in 1925 (to the designs of Percy Adams). The Chapel opened in 1930.
