Toodyay Convict Hiring Depot (1852-1872)

The Toodyay Convict Hiring Depot was built in 1852, in Toodyay, Western Australia (known at the time as Newcastle), as a replacement for the temporary depot built the previous year. It was closed in 1872.

The site, beneath and around the current Shire of Toodyay offices, was heritage listed in 2014.
