Tomoya Ohtani (大谷 智哉 Ōtani Tomoya?, born July 1, 1974, in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese video game composer and musician who works for Sega, where he has been one of the sound directors for the Sonic the Hedgehog series since 2008. Ohtani also performs live musical pieces from the Sonic series on bass guitar, often alongside fellow Sega musician Jun Senoue.
