Thomas 'Tom' F. Trail (born July 29, 1935 in Moscow, Idaho) is a Republican Idaho State Representative since 2002 representing District 6 in the B seat. Trail previously served consecutively in the Idaho House of Representatives from 1997 until 2001 when the seat was in District 5. Trail is retiring from the Idaho Legislature in 2012 after 16 years of service.
Trail graduated from Moscow High School and earned his bachelor's degree in animal science from the University of Idaho. He earned his master's degree from the University of Maryland and earned his doctorate in experimental psychology from Montana State University.
