Tom Moore (born May 12, 1965) is an assistant head coach at Rhode Island and the former head men's basketball coach at Quinnipiac University. He took over the position vacated by Joe DeSantis in 2007 after 13 years as a member of the coaching staff at the University of Connecticut and five seasons of previous head coaching experience at Worcester State College. He was relieved of his coaching duties at Quinnipiac on March 7, 2017. Moore is a 1987 graduate of Boston University.
In 2009, Moore was investigated for recruiting violations while at the University of Connecticut regarding the recruitment of Nate Miles. He was later cleared of any wrongdoing.
