Timothée Chalamet (/ˈtɪməθi ˈʃæləmeɪ/; born December 26, 1995) is an American actor. He is known for playing Finn Walden in the drama series Homeland. In 2014, he appeared in the films Men, Women & Children and Interstellar. He also had roles on the television series Law & Order and Royal Pains, and in the television film Loving Leah.
Chalamet was born and raised in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. He is the son of Nicole Flender and Marc Chalamet. His uncle is director Rodman Flender and his maternal grandfather was screenwriter Harold Flender. His father is French and his mother is American (of half Russian Jewish and half Austrian Jewish descent). He attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School in New York City, and currently studies at NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
