Thomas Brand (senior) (c. 1717 – 1770), was a British politician.
He was the only son of Thomas Brand and educated at Eton College (1728) and probably Queens’ College, Cambridge (1735). He undertook the Grand Tour of Europe during 1739–41.
He was in turn elected as British Member of Parliament for New Shoreham 1741–47, 1747–54, Gatton 1754–68 and Okehampton 1768–70.
He married Lady Caroline Pierrepont, the daughter of Evelyn Pierrepont, 1st Duke of Kingston-upon-Hull, and had a son and 2 daughters.
