"The Way You Love Me" is the first single from R&B singer Karyn White's self-titled debut album. The song peaked at #7 on the Hot 100 chart, #1 on the Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales chart, and at #5 on the dance chart. It also reached #42 on the UK Singles Chart. This song was the first of White's four top ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100.
"The Way You Love Me" was certified Gold by the RIAA on March 9, 1989.
The video was shot in Los Angeles in July 1988.
