The sixth series of The Voice of Albania aired from January 27, 2017 on Top Channel. The show is still hosted by Ledion Liço who has hosted the series since series one with Fjoralba Ponari serving as the backstage. Four new coaches in the series are Alban Skënderaj, Besa Kokëdhima, Rona Nishliu and Xuxi, replacing Alma Bektashi, Sidrit Bejleri, Genc Salihu and Jonida Maliqi. Vodafone Albania sponsored the series who was from series one and used the slogan again "Unique: like your Voice!"

Each coach has the length of the artists' performance to decide if they want that artist on their team. Should two or more coaches want the same artist, then the artist will choose their coach. If only one wanted the artist, then the artist was defaulted in his team. There was a change to the blind auditions format for 2017; if all the coaches reject an auditionee they keep their back to the singer and will not say what they thought about their performance, as well as not being able to meet them.
The Blind auditions began broadcast on January 27, 2017 and ended on March 3, 2017, with the four new coaches Alban Skënderaj, Besa Kokëdhima, Rona Nishliu and Xuxi.

Two artists from each team compete against by singing the same song. The coach of the two acts decides which one will go through and which one will be eliminated meaning that seven acts from each team will get through the knockouts. Each coach has only one steal. The battle advisors for these episodes are: Gent Myftaraj working with Alban Skënderaj, Eugent Bushpepa working with Besa Kokëdhima, Kamela Islamaj working with Rona Nishliu and Merland Kademi working with Xuxi.
