The Viral Fever also popularly abbreviated TVF is an online digital entertainment channel. According to Arunabh Kumar, the founder of this creative network, the idea behind the launch of the network was to reach out to the younger generation who seldom watch the television to either pass the time or for entertainment. They have created a web series called Permanent Roommates. The series was the second most-viewed long-form web series in the world at one time. They released their second original series known as 'TVF Pitchers' - a show focused on how engineers working in different companies quit their jobs and start a startup.
TVF have covered topics such as Indian politics, movies, lifestyle, social concepts, etc. in their videos. As of May 2017, TVF videos have more than two and half million subscribers on YouTube. They have now created a separate website to host their videos called TVF Play.
TVF conceptualized the idea of promoting movies through creation and distribution of original digital content. Ishq Wala song series is one such venture.
Owing to its growing popularity with both TVF Pitchers and Permanent Roommates being watched by millions around the globe, they received funding of $10 Million from Tiger Global as was reported on 17th Feb 2016.

In March 2017, Arunabh found himself in the middle of a sexual harassment claim that was posted anonymously via Medium. TVF released a press release via Medium refuting the claims. Several women have come out with similar stories of harassment. An FIR has been filed against Arunabh in this case.
On March 17 TVF issued a statement where they clarified that they found no records of any employee which fit the description of the anonymous blog post writer. They said they were investigating the remaining allegations. On March 29, a FIR was filed against TVF's CEO Arunabh at the MIDC police station in Andheri East.
A second FIR was lodged against sexual harassment-accused CEO and Founder of The Viral Fever Arunabh Kumar on Thursday. Mumbai’s Versova Police registered the FIR after another woman filed a complaint against Kumar over an incident she said took place in 2014, On 16 June 2017 Arunabh Kumar, accused in multiple sexual harassment cases, has stepped down as TVF CEO. Dhawal Gusain will now hold the company's reins.
