The Spokes is a Collegiate a cappella group from Davis, California. The group was founded in 2004, and are the only all-female a cappella group at the University of California, Davis. The Spokes won the award for Best Choreography for their version of Patty Griffin's "Top of the World" in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella in 2011. The Spokes have been featured on Good Day Sacramento and on KXJZ's Capital Public Radio.

The Spokes have toured cities all over the west coast including: Berkeley, CA for the annual West Coast A 'Cappella showcase hosted by the California Golden Overtones and UC Men's Octet, and Los Angeles for the annual California A 'Cappella Festival hosted by Random Voices. The group also hosts its own annual concerts including "HellaCappella": The Largest A Cappella Showcase in Northern California", and "Local Tones:An all-Davis, all-A Cappella Concert" The group also travels to Berkeley, CA for the West Coast A Cappella Showcase every year.

The groups also prides itself on its commitment to philanthropy and annually donates portions of their profits to multiple charities, most recently to Daraja Academy.

The Spokes were created in January 2004 when two former members of the coed a cappella group the Liquid Hotplates decided the time had come for an all-women's group at UC Davis. Co-founders Camaron and Jaclyn posted many fliers in order to find the most entertaining, cute, and fun-loving bunch of girls in Davis. After several rounds of auditions there were eight Spokes, each one dedicated to creating a beautiful sound and having tons of fun. They practiced in the beautiful and brand-new music room of the Infill dorms, and relied equally on the acoustics of Andrea's apartment.
