The Milk of Human Kindness is a 2005 album by Caribou. Caribou is the performing name of Dan Snaith who was previously known as Manitoba until he was forced to change it after a threat of a lawsuit by American punk musician Handsome Dick Manitoba of The Dictators.
While the title is a quote from Shakespeare's play Macbeth, Snaith has been quoted as saying that he read it off the back of a milk truck.
Note: All songs written solely by Snaith except "Subotnick," which contains a sample from "Love on a Two-Way Street" performed by The Moments.
"Yeti"
"Barnowl"
In 2009, Seattle emcee producer Ryan Lewis sampled the song "Subotnik" for "Vipassana," the first track on their critically acclaimed project, The VS. EP.
