The Leasing Foundation (The Leasing Industry Philanthropic and Research Foundation Limited), established in 2012, is a non-profit organisation based in the City of London.
The mission of the foundation is to support the leasing and asset finance industry by providing focus and organisation for charitable activities, by performing rigorous, challenging and relevant research in areas that impact the industry, and by seeking opportunities to sustain the industry by developing people in the industry.
The Governors of the Leasing Foundation represent organisations including RBS, Siemens, Hitachi, CHP Consulting, IAA-Advisory, Grant Thornton, Santander, IBM, ING, Lombard, HSBC, John Deere, Pitney Bowes, Aldermore, De Large Landen and Close Brothers. The patrons of the Leasing Foundation are Chris Sullivan, former Chief Executive UK Corporate, Royal Bank of Scotland; and Jonathan Andrew, Group Chief Executive, Siemens Financial Services. The Foundation also has almost 150 Fellows (as of October 2016) representing organisations from across Europe.
