At the Drunken Clam, Peter Griffin, Glenn Quagmire, Cleveland Brown, and Joe Swanson discover that Medieval Castle, a kingdom-themed restaurant, is being put up for auction due to various issues, and decide to buy it. At the auction, the guys lose Medieval Castle to Mayor West, Mort, Carl, and Seamus. Peter, Quagmire, Joe and Cleveland try and take Medieval Castle by force, but fail, accidentally burning the place down instead. While the guys apologize, Quagmire discovers that Mort has received a date courtesy of Tinder. Intrigued, Quagmire decides to use the app to score with women. Although it is a success, it becomes an addiction.
Peter, Cleveland, and Joe find that Quagmire's obsession with Tinder has reduced him to a Gollum-like state. Horrified, they try to cure his obsession through various means, but Quagmire refuses to quit the app. One night at the Clam, when a woman shows comfort to Quagmire, his conscience causes him to snap out of his addiction and he picks up the woman.
Meanwhile, Stewie's back is sore, so Lois and Brian take him to the hospital. Dr. Hartman reveals that he has a case of scoliosis and gives him a back brace. Stewie is at first mortified at the brace, but discovers that everyone at his school is treating him with respect because of it, and he uses it to benefit himself. During another doctor's appointment, Dr. Hartman reveals that Stewie's scoliosis has been healed and the brace can come off, but Stewie refuses to stop wearing it, as he enjoys the benefits he gets in response. When Stewie wakes up one morning, he finds that he has muscle atrophy and his head is too heavy for his body. He is forced to wear a neck brace to cure the new condition.
