The Bassmachine is the first album by Basshunter. It was released by Alex Music in 2004. In 2005 a remastered version of this album was released, with better sound quality and volume. In 2006 album was released on Basshunter webpage as The Bass Machine. Some songs listed on the album were re-released on The Early Bedroom Sessions in 2012.
On 21 September, 2004, the promo single "Syndrome de Abstenencia" was released. On 27 October, the single, "The Big Show" was released.
In 2006 remix of „Fest Folk” was released on LOL <(^^,)> album, in the same year song was released on the next version of album in Eglish version as "We Are the Waccos".
All songs from The Bassmachine and 7 songs from The Old Shit was re-released as part of The Early Bedroom Sessions album in 2012.
