The British electronic band Ladytron included "The 15th" on the mix compilation Softcore Jukebox.
The electroclash band Fischerspooner covered "The 15th" as the second single from its 2001 debut album #1.
The Jay Reatard project Angry Angles covered the song on their Apparent-Transparent 7". Additionally, Beck has played the song live a couple of times. French coldwave band Little Nemo covered the song on their 1990 EP "Cadavres Exquis". For the Wire tribute album Whore, the song was recorded by Mike Watt.
