"That's Why I Fell in Love with You" is a song co-written and recorded American country music singer Eddie Rabbitt. was released in May 1989 as the fourth and final single from Rabbitt's eleventh studio album I Wanna Dance with You. The song was written by Rabbitt, Even Stevens and Billy Joe Walker, Jr.

Since Rabbitt's rise to fame in 1974, "That's Why I Fell in Love with You" was the singer's lowest charting single on both the American Billboard Hot Country Songs as well as the Canadian RPM Country Singles Chart. The song peaked at #66 on the American Billboard Hot Country Songs in late May 1989. In Canada, the song peaked at #65 on the RPM Country Singles Chart at the end of May 1989. It debuted at #99 in early May 1989 and lasted in the top 100 for a total of approximately four weeks.

The song was written by the American songwriter Billy Joe Walker, Jr., Even Stevens and Rabbitt. Both Walker and Stevens had worked with Rabbitt before, mainly collaborating on songwriting. The song was produced by Richard Landis and arranged by Charlie Calello. Landis also produced Rabbitt's 1986 album Rabbitt Trax and the two following albums, Jersey Boy (1990) and Ten Rounds (1991).

"That's Why I Fell in Love With You" was later covered by the Dutch singer Piet Veerman for his 1993 album A Winter's Tale. In 1994, the song was used as the B-side to Veerman's single "Recuerda", issued via Columbia Holland.

The single was released in America and Canada only, by RCA Records on 7" vinyl. The single featured the I Wanna Dance with You album track "She's an Old Cadillac" as the B-Side, which was written solely by Rabbitt.

As well as the main 7" vinyl release, a promotional 7" vinyl single was also released, with "That's Why I Fell in Love with You" on both sides. Neither 7" vinyl release had artwork.

Following the song's original release as a single and on the I Wanna Dance with You album, the song appeared on three Rabbitt's compilations: the 1989 compilation album The Great Hits of Eddie Rabbitt, the 1995 compilation Branson Sound and the 2003 compilation All American Country.
