Thalheim is a municipality in the district of Brugg in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland.
Thalheim has an area, as of 2009[update], of 9.91 square kilometers (3.83 sq mi). Of this area, 4.95 square kilometers (1.91 sq mi) or 49.9% is used for agricultural purposes, while 4.31 square kilometers (1.66 sq mi) or 43.5% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 0.57 square kilometers (0.22 sq mi) or 5.8% is settled (buildings or roads), 0.01 km2 (2.5 acres) or 0.1% is either rivers or lakes.
Of the built up area, housing and buildings made up 2.4% and transportation infrastructure made up 2.7%. 40.1% of the total land area is heavily forested and 3.4% is covered with orchards or small clusters of trees. Of the agricultural land, 17.9% is used for growing crops and 29.7% is pastures, while 2.4% is used for orchards or vine crops. All the water in the municipality is in rivers and streams.

Thalheim has a population (as of December 2015[update]) of 807 As of June 2009[update], 4.7% of the population are foreign nationals. Over the last 10 years (1997–2007) the population has changed at a rate of -6.3%. Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German (98.5%), with Italian being second most common ( 0.4%) and Portuguese being third ( 0.3%).
