TestTube is a former education and documentary internet and app channel network under Discovery Digital Networks. It consisted of the TestTube.com website and a collection of videos spanning across multiple YouTube channels, including one named TestTube. The brand was launched in 2013.
The TestTube network was created to appeal to fans of classic Discovery Channel properties. Its website housed short science and news shows such as DNews (based on the Discovery News website), TestTube News, and ScamSchool (a social engineering show). On May 30, 2015, the TestTube channel rebranded itself as TestTube News. On May 10, 2016, TestTube News changed its name to Seeker Daily. With this change, all remaining content on the TestTube network was folded into Seeker and the brand ceased to exist. On March 17, 2017 the Seeker Daily Youtube channel was taken over by a new media organization known as Now This.
TestTube News was a show that discussed various political issues. Hosts included Trace Dominguez, Tara Long, Julia Wilde, Laura Ling, Evan Puschak, Lisette Padilla, and Jules Suzdaltsev, including numerous other guest hosts.
