Terrence Alexander Jones (born January 9, 1992) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the University of Kentucky.
Jones was ranked the #8 player in the class of 2010 by Scout.com, the #9 player in the ESPNU 100, and the #13 player by Rivals.com. Jones led Jefferson High School to three straight Oregon class 5A state championships between his sophomore and senior years. As a junior in 2008–09, he averaged 32 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and three steals per game. As a senior in 2009–10, he averaged 30 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists per game.
On January 20, 2010, he was named in the Junior National Select Team to compete in the 2010 Nike Hoop Summit at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon on April 10. He was also selected to play in the 2010 McDonald's All-American Game and the 2010 Jordan Brand Classic. As a senior in 2009–10, he averaged 30 points, 14 rebounds and six assists per game.
Jones committed to Washington on April 30, 2010, but did not sign a National Letter of Intent. He ended up changing his mind and on May 19, 2010, he signed a financial aid agreement with Kentucky instead of a letter of intent.
Jones had 25 points and 12 rebounds in his debut with Kentucky in a win vs. East Tennessee State. Jones and Doron Lamb became the first freshman duo in UK history to score 20 points in a debut.
