State Route 81 (SR-81) is a 25.7-mile-long (41.4 km) state highway in northeastern Tennessee. It travels in Unicoi and Washington counties. It connects Fall Branch with Erwin.
SR 81 beings at an interchange with Interstate 26/U.S. Route 23/U.S. Route 19W in Erwin (with the road continuing south as Tennessee State Route 107). It goes north from this interchange concurrent with SR 107. The two routes continue north through Embreeville. In the community of Lamar SR 107 turns west and SR 81 continues north. SR 81 serves as the eastern terminus of Tennessee State Route 67 and the northern terminus of Tennessee State Route 353. In Jonesborough two roads provide access to U.S. Routes 11E and 321.
After leaving Jonesborough SR 81 continues north to junction with Tennessee State Route 75 before coming to an end at Tennessee State Route 93 about 3 miles (4.8 km) south of Fall Branch.
