Temecula Valley High School is a public high school for grades 9-12 in Temecula, California. The school opened in 1985 as the city's first high school, along with Margarita Middle School and Temecula Elementary School. When it was built, it was a part of the Elsinore Union High School District (now the Lake Elsinore Unified School District) until the Temecula Valley Unified School District was founded. It is a California Distinguished School.

In its first year the school's attendance consisted of 350 students and 17 teachers. Over the years, attendance has increased to over 3,000.

In August 2007, Temecula Valley High opened a new multimillion-dollar gym.

In May 2013, Temecula Valley High School completed a multimillion-dollar performing arts center.

In February 2015 a renovation of the Stadium was completed changing the field to turf rather than grass.

In June 2015, Work began on a major construction of a culinary/language building and a new science center tearing out the old semi-portable buildings that they are replacing.

Temecula Valley High School is known for its athletic programs including wrestling, football, baseball, soccer (girls), basketball (boys and girls), softball and track and field.

Temecula Valley's wrestling team has won 29 consecutive league titles, 15 CIF titles, and 2 Masters titles. This record of consecutive league titles (which is ongoing at the time of this writing) represents the longest run of league championships for any team in any sport in the state of California.

Temecula Valley High's football program had a record 12 straight CIF playoff appearances from 1995-2007.

Temecula Valley High School has been extremely successful of late in tennis by winning back to back league titles and behind a team of outstanding doubles players and three young, but talented singles players have truly bolstered the reputation of the Temecula Valley High School tennis program.

In 2016, Temecula Valley High School's varsity basketball team reached the CIF championship for the first time.
