Associação Desportiva Social & Cultural Tchadense (Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK as well as Badiu: Txadensi) is a football club that plays in the Premier League of the Santiago Island South Zone League in Cape Verde. It is based in the neighborhood of Achada de Santo António in the southern part of the capital city of Praia and the name of the club is of the common form of Badiu in the island of Santiago. Its current chairman is Jacinto Santos
Its logo is a seal with two blue rims with the club name on top and the name of the club on the bottom, it has a red boat with a small blue stripe on top followed by a larger white stripe and two hands carrying a seashell.
Its uniform colors are white and dark blue.
The club was founded in 1984 and were founded by several young people. On October 17, 1995, the club was officially registered in the local football (soccer) it was published in a press later on October 30. The club first appeared in the second division in 1996 and elevated in 1997. In 1998, it was relegated into the Second Division, an increase number of matches led to a partial deterioration of the grass and the competition were cancelled in 1999, for Tchadense, they did not compete again until 2005.
The full name of the club was changed to Associação Desportiva & Cultural Tchadense on October 12, 2008.
In the 2013-14 Tchadense was relegated to the Regional Second Division for the next few seasons, later in 2014, as a finalist in the Southern Santiago Cup, the club was to face Sporting Clube da Praia (champion, also a cup winner) on November for the regional super cup, the competition was postponed.
In 2015 Tchadense finished very last. The club was second place in the regional second division for the shortened 2015/16 season behind Benfica Praia and qualified into the Premier Division as no promotional matches were played due to the addition of two new clubs for the Second Division in the following season. In a few seasons, Tchadense is again in the regional Premier Division for the 2016/17 season, the club' first match on November 6 ended in a scoreless draw with Benfica, a club that also promoted with Tchadense last season. The fourth week match on December 3 defeated CD Travadores 2-3, one of the top five clubs of the city, as Desportivo Praia scored no goals in the week, for the first time in some seasons, Tchadense went the number one spot and continues for three weeks, after losing to Desportivo, the club is was third, their positions dropped to sixth at the 9th round and would be for the remainder of the season with some expections, Tchadense was 5th from rounds 14-16, 7th at the 19th round and 5th at the 21st round after their last win of the season over Eugénio Lima (a club who merged with Lapaloma), Tchadense had 27 points, 7 wins and draws and scored 25 goals. A high unreached in a couple of seasons. In early April, with enough points, Tchadense will spend their second consecutive season in the Premier Division.
