Taylor Creek is located at 27°13′6″N 80°47′33″W / 27.21833°N 80.79250°W / 27.21833; -80.79250 (27.218385, -80.792469).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 4.2 square miles (11 km2), of which 4.0 square miles (10 km2) is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2) (3.61%) is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4,289 people, 2,022 households, and 1,277 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,073.2 people per square mile (414.0/km²).
