Tatiana Vladimirovna Kopnina (Russian: Татья́на Влади́мировна Копнина́; November 11, 1921 in Krasnoyarsk, East Siberia, Soviet Russia – March 6, 2009 in Saint Petersburg, Russia) - Soviet Russian painter and art teacher, lived and worked in Leningrad - Saint Petersburg, regarded as one of the representatives of the Leningrad school of painting, most famous for her portrait paintings.
Tatiana Vladimirovna Kopnina was born November 11, 1921 in Krasnoyarsk, East Siberia, Soviet Russia.
In 1950 Tatiana Kopnina graduated from Ilya Repin Institute in Mikhail Avilov workshop. Pupil of Alexander Zaytsev, Genrikh Pavlovsky, Semion Abugov.
Since 1949 Tatiana Kopnina participated in art exhibitions. Painted portraits, genre scenes, landscapes, still lifes. Personal art exhibition in Leningrad ( 1985).
Tatiana Kopnina was a member of Saint Petersburg Union of Artists since 1950.
In 1960-1990 Tatiana Kopnina worked as an art teacher in the Secondary Art School of Repin Institute of Arts in Leningrad.
Tatiana Vladimirovna Kopnina died on March 6, 2009 in Saint Petersburg. Her paintings are in museums and private collections in Russia, Japan, the U.S., China, and other countries.
