Cape Verde wall gecko also as Cape Verdean or Capeverdean wall gecko (Tarentola caboverdiana) is a species of geckos in the family Phyllodactylidae. The species is endemic to the Cape Verde Islands and are founded in the island of São Nicolau. The species was named in by Hans Hermann Schleich in 1984.
The species is endemic to the island of Santo Antão.
The specific name is named after the Portuguese name for Cape Verdean (caboverdiana)
There were subspecies and were Tarentola caboverdiana substituta, Tarentola caboverdiana nicolauensis (São Nicolau gecko) and Tarentola caboverdiana raziana (Razean gecko), they would become classified as separate species by Vasconcelos, Perera, Geniez, Harris & Carranza en 2012.
