Tarentola boavistensis (English name: Boa Vista wall gecko or Boa Vista Gecko, sometimes as Tarentola bonavistensis, the Latin name for Boa Vista is Bona Vista, not frequently used in Latin) is a species of geckos in the family Phyllodactylidae. The species is endemic to the Cape Verde Islands and are founded in the island of Boa Vista and also on Sal.
The specific name, boavistensis is named after the island where the species was discovered.
