Tangal Durbar(also known as Sita Bhawan) is a Rana palace in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The palace complex, located East of the Narayanhity Palace, was incorporated in an impressive and vast array of courtyards, gardens and buildings.Lal Durbar was built by Bir Shumsher JBR in 1889 CE.

Tangal Durbar was built by Bir Shumsher JBR in 1889 CE for his brother Bhim Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana .Bhim Shumsher lived in this palace for 40 years and made different improvements.Bhim Shumsher gave Tangal Durbar to his third son Ram Shumsher. In 1932 Ram Shumsher moved to Tangal durbar from Singha Durbar after the death of his father, Bhim Shumsher. After Ram Shumsher's death in 1972, his sons Man Shumsher and Satya Shumsher sold Tangal Durbar.

Tangal Durbar is largely occupied by,Nepal Children Organization (NCO) and Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA).

A large section of this palace was destroyed by 2015 earthquake.Future of this historic building is unknown.
