Tancheng, Pingtan County
Tancheng (潭城镇) is the shiretown of Pingtan County, under Fuzhou, Fujian, seating its executive, legislature, judiciary, CPC and PSB branches. It is located on Haitan Island. It covers an area of 12 km2, and has a population of 46,900 (2004).
