Tagondaing (also spelled Tagundaing; Karen: စံင်မံင်ထုင်း; Burmese: တံခွန်တိုင်; MLCTS: tam hkwan tuing; pronounced [təɡʊ̀ɴàiɴ]), is a village in the Kayin State of south-eastern Myanmar. It is near the Winyaw River. The population of Tagondaing as of the 2014 census is 4,994. Most of the people in Tagondaing are of the Karen ethnic group.The name of the village gets its name from a monumental column or flagstaff located in the village centre.
Tagondaing has one public high school, one public primary school (post) and four public primary school.
