The Dawsahak language, Tadaksahak (also Daoussahak, Dausahaq, and other spellings) is a Songhay language spoken by the pastoralist Idaksahak of the Ménaka area of Mali. Its phonology, verb morphology, and vocabulary has been strongly influenced by the neighboring Tuareg languages, Tamasheq and Tamajaq.
