Tennis is an American sports magazine owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group. There are 8 issues per year covering the world of tennis. The tennis.com website is an offshoot of the magazine and still part of the same media company.

Tennis magazine was started in 1965 Chicago. It was purchased by The New York Times Company in 1967. Miller Publishing bought the magazine in 1997 along with sailing and ski magazines. Miller Publishing grouped Tennis with Mountain Sports & Living (formerly Snow Country), Sailing World and Cruising World into Miller Sports Group under president Carol A. Smith.

Tennis legend Chris Evert became the publisher in 2000. Pete Sampras became a part owner, marketing and editorial contributor of the magazine in October 2003.

In August 2014, publisher Jeff Willams purchased the controlling interest in Tennis Media Company, owner of Tennis magazine.

On March 1, 2017, Sinclair Broadcast Group, owner of Tennis Channel, announced that it had acquired Tennis Media Company for $8 million.

Aside from articles about the most recent events and most active players, the magazine also includes the recent ranking for both ATP and WTA, as well as brief summaries of the future tournaments, their participants and the past winners.

Chris Evert has her own personal section in the magazine—usually the first page—which is called "Chrissie's Page". Aside from Evert, other famous players and coaches also contribute to the magazine, Sampras, Paul Annacone, former coach of Sampras, is the Senior Instruction Editor and Brad Gilbert, former coach of Andre Agassi and Andy Roddick, is Touring Instruction Editor.
