Syrokomla - is a Polish coat of arms. It was used by several szlachta families in the times of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
According to the legend, the coat of arms was granted to certain knight named Syrokomla of Abdank coat of arms after he won a duel with a pagan Prussian warrior in 1331 during the reign of Ladislaus the Short. After this victory he was awarded with a right to add a golden cross to his coat of arms, to underline that he is one of the defenders of Christianity.
