Syon Lane railway station, on the Hounslow Loop Line, is in the London Borough of Hounslow in west London. It is in Travelcard Zone 4. The station and all trains serving it are operated by South West Trains. It was opened in 1931 by the Southern Railway.
The station, which has no building apart from a passenger shelter on each platform, is on Syon Lane, which crosses the Great West Road at Gillette Corner. The two platforms are accessed by separate steps from the bridge carrying Syon Lane, with another entrance on the eastbound platform leading from Rothbury Gardens. Hounslow Council proposed that the Hounslow Loop Line be part of the Crossrail route with Crossrail trains calling at Syon Lane station. but this was not included in the final route presented to Parliament in 2008.
