The Sycamore Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race held annually at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Kentucky. A Grade III event open to horses age three and older, it is contested on turf over a distance of 1 1⁄2 miles.
Inaugurated in 1995, the Sycamore Stakes was run at a distance of 1 5⁄8 miles from inception through 2000.
Due to extremely wet conditions, the Sycamore was run "off the turf" on the polytrack in 2011. It was also run at 1 and 5/8ths mile, originally scheduled for 1 and 1/2 miles. It was determined that the race lost its grade for this running and for that of 2013. But it was once again a Grade III in 2014.
In 2013, the race was set at a distance of 13 furlongs.
