Survivor Series (2009) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). It took place on November 22, 2009, at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.. It was the 23rd annual Survivor Series event and starred wrestlers from the Raw, SmackDown, and ECW brands.
The card comprised six matches. The main event was a Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship between the champion John Cena, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels, which Cena won by pinfall after executing an Attitude Adjusment on Triple H. In the other main event, the World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker successfully defended his title against both halves of the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and Big Show, also in a Triple Threat match. The undercard matches included Batista versus Rey Mysterio in a singles match and three five-on-five elimination tag team matches. The event received 235,000 pay-per-view buys, down from the previous year's event of 319,000 buys.
