Superstar K6 (Hangul: 슈퍼스타 K6) is the sixth current season of the South Korean television talent show series Superstar K, which premiered on 22 August 2014 on Mnet and airs every Friday night at 11PM KST. Eliminations are determined in every episode, based on text message votes and online votes that are open to the entire public. The winner of Superstar K6 will receive 500,000,000 won ($470,990 USD) worth of prizes and benefits; 300,000,000 won ($282,486 USD)in cash prize and 200,000,000 won ($188,324 USD) for record producing. Lee Seung-chul and Yoon Jong-shin returned as judges. This season also saw the addition of Kim Bum-soo and Baek Ji-young as judges following the departure of of DJ DOC.
