Sunshine Coast Football is the governing body of football (soccer) on Sunshine Coast, Queensland. It is a member zone of Football Queensland and Football Federation Australia.
Sunshine Coast Soccer (as it was known before the statewide reforms) was formed in 1968 when the Caloundra Rugby league team was refused permission to take part in the North Coast League Competition. Members were subsequently looking for an alternative sport when soccer was soon suggested. Teams from Caloundra and Woombye were soon formed, joined later that year by Maroochydore and Beegees. Club numbers have continued to expand and the Zone now incorporates 16 clubs from Caboolture in the south to Gympie Miners in the North.
