Subulussalam is a city ((Indonesian) Kota) in Aceh province of Indonesia. Since 2 January 2007, the provincial government of Aceh declared Subussalam as city as a result of the administration expansion from Aceh Singkil Regency. It is located at 2°38′32″N 98°00′15″E / 2.6423°N 98.0041°E. As of 2010, the population was 67,316. and has an area of 1206 square kilometres.
The city is divided administratively into five districts (kecamatan):
