Rappa Ternt Sanga is the debut studio album by American rapper, singer-songwriter and record producer T-Pain; it was released on December 6, 2005. The title is a dialectal pronunciation of the phrase "rapper turned singer."
One of the leftover tracks from the album was, titled "You and Me"; which is the original version of "I Can't Wait" by Akon. The remix to "Studio Love" was made featuring Lil Wayne. The remix to "Dance Floor" was made featuring Pitbull.
The album overall received positive reviews from music critics.
The album has been certified Gold for selling well over 500,000 copies in the United States. T-Pain's album had 2 US Billboard top 10 hits with "I'm Sprung" and "I'm 'n Luv (Wit a Stripper)". Rappa Ternt Sanga debuted at #40 on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling well over 50,000 copies in the 1st week, and fell fifty places to #91 next week; over the following weeks it eventually climbed to #33.
