Lobatus costatus, commonly known as the milk conch, is a species of large sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Strombidae, the true conchs.

This species occurs in the Caribbean Sea; the Gulf of Mexico and the Lesser Antilles; in the Atlantic Ocean from North Carolina to East Brazil.

The maximum recorded shell length is 231 mm.

Minimum recorded depth is 2 m. Maximum recorded depth is 55 m.
