Stord Municipality

Stord Municipality (Norwegian: Stord kommune) is the local government for Stord, Norway. It is led by a 35-member municipal council led by Mayor Liv Kari Eskeland of the Conservative Party. Among the municipality's responsibilities, it the operation of eleven primary and three lower secondary school. It owns 79% of Stord Airport, Sørstokken.
