"Stoney End" is song written by Laura Nyro that was a hit in 1970 for Barbra Streisand. It was originally recorded in 1968 by Peggy Lipton and her recording reached #121 on the U.S. Billboard Bubbling Under the Hot 100 chart.

Barbra Streisand covered "Stoney End" in 1970. It was the title track and first release from her twelfth studio album. Fanny provided the backing vocals.

The song reached number six on the US Billboard Hot 100 in early 1971 and became Streisand's second Top 10 hit. It also reached number two on the US Adult Contemporary chart. In Canada, "Stoney End" peaked at number five and is ranked as the 65th biggest Canadian hit of 1971.

The Blossoms included the song as the B-side of their single release, "Wonderful" in 1969.

"Stoney End" had previously been covered by The Chicks. It charted in New Zealand, reaching number 21 in January 1970.
