The Stopmolophidae are a family of true jellyfish from the West Atlantic and Pacific containing a single genus, Stomolophus. In addition to the species listed below, Nomura's jellyfish (Nemopilema nomurai) was formerly included in this genus, though now it has been placed within the Rhizostomatidae.
