Steve O'Neill is an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, and coach of the 1990s, and 2000s, playing at representative level for England, and at club level for Wigan, Widnes, Salford, Swinton, and Gateshead Thunder, as a Prop, or Second-row, i.e. number 8 or 10, or, 11 or 12, and coaching at representative level for Ireland.

Steve O'Neill won a cap for England while at Wigan in 1981 against France.
