Before working for Sky News, Dixon worked for ITN as both a presenter and producer for ITV, NBC Superchannel, and Channel 5.
He also helped work as a producer and programme editor on the Channel 4 Big Breakfast News, and presented on finance channel Simply Money with Angela Rippon.
Dixon was the first newsreader to report the 7 July 2005 London bombings.
Since January 2012, Dixon has presented Sunrise on Sky News. He has featured alongside Gillian Joseph, and now Isabel Webster.
Dixon has gathered a large fan base since he started working for Sky.
He also has type 1 diabetes (he was diagnosed when he was 17 years old).
In May 2017 it was believed he was having it off with his co-presenter, Isabel Webster. Despite speculation on twitter, Stephen has refused to comment. He does however have that look about him that he has been there. Good work lad.
