Statesmen of Jazz

Statesmen of Jazz was a swing jazz group founded in 1994 by the American Federation of Jazz Societies.

The ensemble has a rotating, all-star membership, usually appearing as a sextet, but having approximately thirty invited members. The group performed at the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee in 1995 and toured Japan in 1997. The group also recorded, including a self-titled release for Arbors Records in 1994.
